The outside-in, inside-out rotary filter is composed of a series of horizontally installed rotating filter discs. Each filter disc is composed of even-numbered fan-shaped filter plates. The operating status of the fiber turntable filter includes: filtration, backwashing, and sludge discharge status.

(1) The gravity flow of filtered sewage enters the filter tank, and there is a water distribution weir in the filter tank. The filter cloth adopts the fully submerged type, the sewage enters through the outside of the filter cloth, the filtrate is collected through the hollow tube, and the gravity flow is discharged out of the filter tank through the effluent weir. The whole process is continuous.

(2) Part of the sludge in the cleaning and filtering process is adsorbed on the outside of the filter cloth and gradually forms a sludge layer. With the accumulation of sludge on the filter cloth, the filtering resistance of the filter cloth increases, and the water level of the filter gradually rises. The change of the liquid level in the tank is monitored by a pressure sensor. When the liquid level in the pool reaches the cleaning set value (high water level), the PLC can start the anti-suction pump to start the cleaning process. When cleaning, the filter tank can be continuously filtered.
During filtration, the filter turntable is in a static state, which is conducive to the deposition of sludge at the bottom of the pool. During cleaning, the filter turntable rotates at a speed of 1 revolution/2 minutes. The suction pump suctions the surface of the filter cloth under negative pressure, sucks the sludge particles accumulated on the filter cloth, and the water in the filter turntable is simultaneously sucked from the inside to the outside, and it has a counter-cleaning effect on the filter cloth. The instantaneous flushing area only accounts for about 1% of the area of ​​the full filter turntable. The backwash process is intermittent.
When cleaning, the two filter discs are a group, which is controlled by the electric valve on the pipe of the suction pump automatically. During a complete cleaning process of the fiber turntable filter, the cleaning of each group is carried out alternately, during which the suction pump works continuously. . When the influent water quality suddenly deteriorates, the liquid level in the pool rises to the backwash level rapidly, and all backwash pumps are started at the same time during cleaning, and several groups of filter turntables can be backwashed at the same time until the backwash cycle returns to normal.
(3) Mud discharge system
The bottom of the filter turntable of the fiber turntable filter is provided with a bucket-shaped pool bottom to facilitate the collection of sludge at the bottom of the pool. The sedimentation at the bottom of the sludge pool reduces the amount of sludge on the filter cloth, which can extend the filtering time and reduce the amount of backwashing water. After a set period of time, the PLC starts the sludge pump, and returns the sludge to the plant drainage system through the perforated sludge pipe at the bottom of the pond. Among them, the sludge discharge interval and the sludge discharge duration can be adjusted.
