Design and Operation:
The system features multiple vertical discs mounted on a central rotating shaft. Each disc is constructed from sector-shaped panels covered with a precise filter media, typically a woven fabric or mesh suitable for the specific solid particle size.
During operation, the discs rotate slowly while partially submerged in the wastewater slurry. A liquid level is maintained in the filter tank, ensuring continuous immersion of a portion of the filter area. A pressure differential—often created by a pump-induced vacuum inside the central shaft—draws the liquid (filtrate) through the filter media, thereby trapping solid particles on the outer surface of the discs and forming a cake layer.
As the discs rotate out of the slurry, the captured solids are transported to the discharge zone. Here, the filter cake is efficiently removed, typically by applying reverse air pressure or using mechanical scrapers. The cleaned filter media then re-enters the slurry tank, ready to begin the next filtration cycle. This automated and continuous process ensures optimal efficiency with minimal operator intervention.

2. The whole plant machinery size are large as normal, so we will use Waterproof cloth to pack all of them. The motor, gear box or other easily damaged parts, we will put them into box. We have a professional shipping department, they will try their best to save your container quantity.
