Feed slurry enters the rapidly rotating bowl through a central feed pipe. Under centrifugal force, denser solid particles settle onto the inner wall of the bowl and are continuously conveyed toward the conical discharge end by a scroll conveyor rotating at a slightly different speed (differential speed). The lighter liquid phase overflows from the cylindrical end via adjustable weirs or is extracted by a centripetal pump—achieving efficient, fully enclosed, and uninterrupted solid-liquid separation.
