Structure and Working Principle
The cyclone grit chamber features a conical-bottom circular tank equipped with a rotating paddle separator. Wastewater enters tangentially and follows a 270-degree rotational path (clockwise from top view) before exiting through the discharge channel.
The tangential inflow creates a swirling motion along the inner wall, enhanced by the paddle agitation. This generates an axial vortex that accelerates the settling of sand particles while effectively separating organic matter. The flow velocity increases toward the center, guiding settled sand in a spiral trajectory to the central hopper. Organic materials rise centrally and are discharged with the effluent. Sand collected at the bottom is extracted via a lifting mechanism (airlift or pump) and directed to a sand-water separator, with separated wastewater returning to the screen channel.

Packing and Delivery
1. Waterproof packing with the international export standard by 20ft, 40ft, 40hp container. Equipment Fittings, Electric Motor and Power Cabinet will be packed in Wooden Case or Iron Box. Other Equipment will be packed by Color-Stripes Plastic Cloth.
2. The whole plant machinery size are large as normal, so we will use Waterproof cloth to pack all of them. The motor, gear box or other easily damaged parts, we will put them into box. We have a professional shipping department, they will try their best to save your container quantity.
