Primarily used for sand-water treatment in aeration grit tanks at urban sewage treatment plants or water plants. It extracts settled sand, cinder, and other large particles from the tank bottom and discharges them into a sand collection tank. Optional oil/slag skimming attachments are available for customized needs.
The equipment features a mobile bridge design with a pump suction system. Key operational steps:
Sand Suction: At rest, the machine stations at the water inlet. Upon activation, it traverses the tank while a submersible pump extracts sand and grit via a suction pipe.
Skimming: A scraper blade skims surface scum into a skimmer tank at the pool end.
Reciprocating Motion: Reverse movement lifts the skimmer rake to prevent backflow, ensuring continuous sand discharge and skimming.
Grit Processing: Extracted grit flows to a sand-water separator for further treatment.

Packing and Delivery
1. Waterproof packing with the international export standard by 20ft, 40ft, 40hp container. Equipment Fittings, Electric Motor and Power Cabinet will be packed in Wooden Case or Iron Box. Other Equipment will be packed by Color-Stripes Plastic Cloth.
2. The whole plant machinery size are large as normal, so we will use Waterproof cloth to pack all of them. The motor, gear box or other easily damaged parts, we will put them into box. We have a professional shipping department, they will try their best to save your container quantity.
