1. The chain-plate mud scraper is applicable to the skimming, scum and sand scraping of rectangular tanks such as sedimentation tanks, grit tanks, oil separators in oil refineries, water plants or sewage treatment plants.
2. The chain-plate mud scraper should be used in conjunction with auxiliary devices such as oil collecting pipe and mud drain valve to separate the oil slick on the water surface and the mud and sand at the bottom of the pool and complete the initial purification treatment.
3. Before entering the sedimentation tank, the sewage must be filtered to prevent large floating objects from entering.
4. Driven by two parallel chains, the scraper mud scraper moves in a continuous straight line in the pool. The operation speed is slow, and the disturbance to sewage is small, which is conducive to the sediment deposition and the improvement of mud scraping ability. The circular operation of two parallel closed chains makes the running direction of the upper and lower chains change naturally, without the need to control the reverse direction, simplifying the control procedure and saving the cost. The drive device is installed on the platform at the top of the pool, facilitating the repair and maintenance of equipment and electrical appliances.
Working Principle
The chain-plate oil scraper is equipped with two parallel closed traction chains. It is equipped with multiple scrapers. Under the driving force of the drive device, the chain and scraper circulates along the guide wheel and guide rail set up on the upper and lower sides of the sedimentation tank to form a four-sided track. The scraper can move slowly up and down to scrape the floating oil residue from the water inlet end to the oil collecting pipe at the water inlet end and discharge it, The sediment settled at the bottom of the tank is scraped from the inlet end to the sludge tank at the outlet end and discharged through the sludge discharge valve, thus completing the primary mechanical purification of sewage.
Performance Characteristics
1. The moving speed of the scraper is moderate, which has little disturbance to the sewage and is conducive to the sedimentation of suspended solids.
2. The scraper makes continuous rotary motion in the pool, without reversing, and the drive device is located on the platform of the pool surface, so power distribution and maintenance are very simple.
3. It can also be used as a skimmer without additional mechanism.
