U-shaped screw conveyor is a kind of screw conveyor. It is manufactured according to DIN15261-1986 standard and designed in accordance with JB/T7679-2008 Screw Conveyor. It is suitable for small scale operation, stable transportation, and can play a good role in the case of limited transportation site. With good sealing performance, it has great advantages for occasions with large dust and requirements for the environment, and can avoid the generation of dust in the transportation process. However, U-shaped screw conveyor is not suitable for long-distance transportation, and its cost is higher than that of belt conveyor. It is easy to crush fragile materials.

Working Principle

A machine that uses a motor to drive the spiral rotation and move materials to achieve the purpose of conveying. When the spiral shaft rotates, due to the gravity of the material and the friction between the material and the tank wall, the material can only move forward along the bottom of the conveyor under the push of the blade.

Application

U-type screw conveyor is widely used in grain, chemical industry, building materials, metallurgy, mining, power and other departments, mainly used to transport small granular, powdery, small pieces of materials. It is not suitable for conveying materials that are easy to deteriorate, have high viscosity and caking, and have high water content.
