Structure & Working Principle
The drum screen basket, constructed with precisely spaced bars, is engineered to optimize filtration. Wastewater enters from the front of the drum, passes through the screen, and exits through the outlet. Solid waste is retained on the inner surface of the screen.
When the differential water level reaches a preset threshold, a motor-driven rotary rake mechanism activates. The rake cleans the screened material and lifts it to the top of the drum. Most debris discharges by gravity into a collection hopper; adhered residues are removed by an automatic wiper blade. A integrated screw conveyor then lifts, compacts, and dewaters the waste before final discharge.
