In the dewatering section, the volume of the spiral cavity gradually decreases, increasing internal pressure. Working Principle
Concentration: As the spiral shaft rotates, the multiple fixed and moving rings surrounding it undergo relative motion. Under gravity, water is efficiently filtered out through the gaps between the rings, achieving rapid sludge concentration.
Dewatering: The concentrated sludge advances with the rotation of the spiral shaft. Toward the sludge cake outlet, the pitch of the spiral gradually decreases, reducing the gap between the rings and shrinking the volume of the spiral cavity. Under the resistance of the back-pressure plate, internal pressure continuously increases, and the sludge is steadily squeezed. Water is progressively removed, resulting in a filter cake with continuously increasing solids content, thereby achieving continuous sludge dewatering.
Self-Cleaning: The rotation of the spiral shaft drives the moving rings, creating continuous motion between the moving and fixed rings. This autonomous cleaning action effectively prevents clogging—a common issue in traditional dewatering systems—ensuring long-term stable operation with minimal maintenance.
