Opening the conference, Zhang Chao, Director of the Development Research Department at the Jiangsu Council for the Promotion of International Trade, delivered a keynote report titled “Analysis and Outlook of the Global Economic and Trade Landscape.” Drawing on the latest data regarding tariff transmission, inflation trends, and exchange rate fluctuations, he provided an in-depth analysis of the opportunities and challenges in the current international trade environment. He particularly emphasized that enterprises should enhance their awareness of exchange rate risks during overseas expansion, actively promote the cross-border use of the RMB, and strengthen their operational autonomy. Director Zhang stressed that China possesses distinct comprehensive advantages in talent, capital, systems, and technology. Environmental protection enterprises should leverage their own strengths, develop systematic plans, and pursue steady overseas expansion.

In her concluding remarks, Jin Xiu, Member of the Party Leadership Group of Yixing Municipal Bureau of Commerce and President of the Yixing Council for the Promotion of International Trade, emphasized that this seminar serves not only as a platform for information exchange and sharing but also as a crucial opportunity for Yixing's environmental protection industry to build confidence in going global and jointly chart a development blueprint. She stated that moving forward, the bureau will collaborate with associations and enterprises to focus on five key areas: establishing routine service mechanisms, providing targeted policy guidance, diversifying matchmaking channels, ensuring end-to-end risk control safeguards, and fostering collective brand advocacy. These efforts aim to jointly build a more robust, systematic, and efficient overseas service system.

The event concluded successfully in an atmosphere of pragmatism, openness, and forward-thinking. The association will continue to serve as a bridge and resource integrator, collaborating with government departments, industry experts, and member enterprises to propel Yixing's environmental protection industry from merely “aspiring to go global” to embarking on a new journey of “daring to go global, knowing how to go global, and succeeding overseas.”
